Keep Small Critters from Wiping out Your Corn

Bill discusses corn plots and the steps he takes to help protect them. Small critters, like ground squirrels and chipmunks will dig up the corn plant and eat the seed just as soon as the corn plant spikes above the ground. You can keep them killing the plant by supplying corn on top of the ground to take their attention off the seeds until the corn plants are big enough to absorb the seed underground. After that, the small critters will leave them alone.
