This area was closed canopy unmanaged timber only three years ago, but with a timber harvest, followup forest stand improvement, and a prescribed this area of low quality habitat is now thriving with life! Plenty of cover and food for whitetail deer, quality nesting habitat for turkeys and quail, and plenty of flowering plants for pollinators.
